Composer of Contemporary Concert Music

Hugo Daouk’s work explores composition as a space between structure and cultural context. His music often unfolds through processes of repetition and transformation, questioning conventional ideas of form, duration, and concert experience.

An important aspect of his recent work engages with intercultural perspectives, particularly the relationship between Western contemporary music and Arabic classical music. His compositions combine styles by examining how different musical and cultural traditions can influence each other within a single work.
